Terms of Service
Last updated 7 July 2026
Welcome to Zoni. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zoni website, apps, and services (“Zoni”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Zoni you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Zoni is a marketplace that helps people in Nigeria find internet service providers (ISPs) that actually cover their exact address. Zoni is not an ISP and does not provide internet service directly.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Zoni. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Using Zoni as a customer
When you request installation from a listed ISP through Zoni, we share the information needed to fulfil that request (address, contact details, plan of interest) with the ISP you selected. You agree that ISPs may contact you to progress the request.
4. ISP partner obligations
If you list an ISP on Zoni you additionally agree to the Founding Partner MOU accepted during onboarding: only submit coverage you can install in, reconfirm coverage at least monthly, respond to leads within 48 hours, and keep plan and pricing information current. Zoni may suspend or remove listings that breach these commitments.
5. Content and intellectual property
The Zoni name, logo, and site design are our property. You may not copy, modify, or reuse them without written permission. Coverage GeoJSON, plans, and other data you submit remain yours; you grant Zoni a non-exclusive licence to display and process that data to operate the marketplace.
6. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Submit false coverage or misleading plan information.
- Scrape, resell, or repackage Zoni data without written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or non-public areas of Zoni.
- Use Zoni to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
7. Disclaimers
Zoni is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that any specific ISP will accept, schedule, or complete your install, that coverage indicators are error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. See our Disclaimer for details.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoni will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data arising from your use of Zoni. Our total liability for any claim relating to Zoni will not exceed NGN 50,000.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Zoni against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your submitted content, or your interactions with other users.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Zoni at any time for breach of these Terms or where required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
